TEASER TUESDAY: The Winner’s Crime by Marie Rutkoski

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Should Be Reading, and this week’s pick is from Marie Rutkoski‘s upcoming The Winner’s Crime, second book of her The Winner’s Curse trilogy to be released March 3rd 2015 through Farrar Straus Giroux. This book has completely captured my feels, and I can’t wait to post my review once we’re closer to release! I hope you enjoy this little teaser until then!

TEASER TUESDAY (#11): Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Should Be Reading, and my pick for the week is one of many, many magical and incredible quotes from Maggie Stiefvater‘s third The Raven Cycle book Blue Lily, Lily Blue, which I (of course) absolutely ADORED. Here’s one of my (many, many) favourite two lines from that magic carpet ride! Ha! But alas, first a quick reminder about the Teaser Tuesday rules:

TEASER TUESDAY (#10): Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry

Teaser Tuesdays hosted by Should Be Reading are back! This week, I decided on a teaser from Pushing the Limites by Katie McGarry to celebrate the amazing sequel news of Noah and Echo’s story in Breaking the Rules to be released December 30th. If you haven’t yet checked this author out, be sure to do so if you love a really, really great contemporary romance. McGarry’s characters are the real deal, and the book is an incredibly hopeful and encouraging read for everyone who’s ever felt anxious about their future or felt trapped in their past. It helped me a lot on how to deal with grief and other obstacles thrown in your way and is one of my favourite books in this genre, so I can only ever recommend it! 🙂

TEASER TUESDAY (#9): Pivot Point by Kasie West

I’m so super excited over this week’s Teaser Tuesday pick because damn, Kasie West‘s Pivot Point finally got me out of my major reading slump. It was a fantastic young adult paranormal read and I can only recommend this to everyone who hasn’t yet picked it up! Pivot Point‘s female protagonist Addie is a true bookworm, and I just loved this quote so much! I hope you enjoy!

ImageI don’t care when people think I’m an antisocial, controlling bookworm because that’s what I am. It’s when they interpret me wrong that I have a problem.

TEASER TUESDAY (#8): The Underdog by Markus Zusak

My Teaser Tuesday selection for this week is taken from Markus Zusak‘sdebut novel The Underdog, the first in a trilogy, and a short and intriguing read. Despite the fact that this was a very mercurial reading experience, it somehow managed to trigger a whole lot of emotional reactions from me. I picked this up after I finished The Book Thief and was surprised how much I ended up liking it.

TEASER TUESDAY (#7): Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

My pick for Teaser Tuesday this week is from Colleen Hoover‘supcoming Maybe Someday release. I was fortunate enough to receive my copy last week and read it in one sitting on Sunday, so I figured why not share this quote I really liked from this highly anticipated release! You should definitely also check out the amazing soundtrack Griffin Peterson wrote for the book over here once you’re at it, because his songs were truly highlights during this reading experience!

ImageWe try so hard to hide everything we’re really feeling from those who probably need to know our true feelings the most. People try to bottle up their emotions, as if it’s somehow wrong to have natural reactions to life.

TEASER TUESDAY (#6): Better Off Friends by Elizabeth Eulberg

This week’s Teaser Tuesday features Elizabeth Eulberg‘s Better Off Friends, a super cute contemporary romance that had me feel all the feels while I finished it in one late-night sitting last week. I couldn’t put it down because damn, I shipped the ship out of Levi and Macallan, and it was glorious, ha! If you haven’t checked it out yet, maybe this teaser will entise you to so! 🙂
